I feel unbelievably privileged to have experienced some amazing times with some amazing people over the past two years, and it's important for me to keep these memories close to me. These are just a couple of examples, as I know I have so much to look forward to in the future, whether that be near or far.
This photo was taken in July 2012 at Bournemouth beach. I took a day trip to the seaside with a group of friends and it was such an amazing day! It was a nice change of scenery and allowed us to run free and wild doing whatever we wanted to do, no adults and no restrictions! The perfect summers day.
My first ever concert was on the 26th of October 2012, and I was lucky enough to see Passenger and Ed Sheeran front row (after hours and hours of queuing in the freezing cold!) I'd never experienced live music like this before and it honestly took me away. No exaggeration. Given the opportunity I would definitely see Ed again, and I would definitely endure waiting in extreme weather to get so close to the front.
On the 24th of January 2013, I went to see One Direction live at the O2 arena. Despite being so far back, the atmosphere was amazing, the music was great and the lights were absolutely stunning from our view. I've been a big fan for a while so it felt surreal finally being this close to them! The people I was with definitely made it all the more enjoyable, I love my friends so much and being able to spend an exciting day in London together was great.
Finally, and most recently, I spent one of the best nights of my life seeing McFly and the Vamps live in concert. The 23rd of April will definitely be a date to remember, as after 10 years of listening to their music, I had McFly singing live right in front of me. I can't really explain the emotions you feel when you finally get to see who you grew up with, because these boys bring back so many memories from my childhood.
This may all seem unbelievably and unbearably cheesy, and I'm sorry for that, but I'm such a sucker at things like this. I'm the type of person that can easily get stuck in the past, and sharing my experiences is always something I try hard to do. But remind yourself that memories are important, but the making of them is even more.
